House rules

The house is set as a family home. Please treat it as you would your own.

GENERAL RULES
Check in window is 4pm to 10pm. If you need to arrive earlier or later please inform us as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate you.

Check out is no later than 10:30am.

Maximum occupancy is 8 persons (children and infants included).

All guests staying over night must be registered and a copy of their national ID (for CH & EU citizens) or passport must be provided to the host before check in or upon arrival. This is required by local regulations and we as hosts take the obligation to register your stay at the tourist office. The local tourist tax is included in the rental cost. If you are not greeted at the house, we will ask you to provide pictures of your documents via WhatsApp or the agency chat. All your private information will be handled under the general GDPR rules and deleted right after the registration. We will never share any information shared with us with any third party.

Quiet time in the neighbourhood is from 11pm to 8am and during the day from 2pm to 5pm. Please try to keep the noise level low at these times.

You may have visitors but house parties are not allowed.

Pets are allowed (max number 2). Please state if you will be bringing a pet when you book.

At night please keep the front door locked, the balcony doors and the front gate closed.

KEY/LOCKBOX
The key to the house will be placed in the lockbox. You will receive the code to the lockbox 24h before your planned arrival. Before departing please place the key back in the lockbox, close it, and scramble the code.
In case of a loss or damage to the house key locksmith service will be called to replace/repair the lock at your cost.

KITCHEN/BATHROOM:
The coffee machine - always empty the water tank after use. Before you depart please empty the capsules tray.

Fridge - Upon arrival turn the fridge on by turning the dial on the inside roof to 4-5 then close the refrigerator doors and let it cool. Upon leaving please turn the dial back to 0 and leave the fridge doors open.

Always use a cutting board and coasters. The kitchen surface is not cut or heat resistent!

Dishwasher - tabs for the dishwasher are under the sink. Please leave the dishwasher door slightly open when you leave.

Trash - Trash - Istria County enforces separation of the trash so we also expect you to. There are 3 trash bins outside next to the entrance gate. Inside the house you also have 3 bins:

- Green (in the kitchen corner) for general domestic trash

- Blue (under the kitchen sink) for paper and carton packaging

- Yellow (next to the fridge) for plastic, storiform, and metal (beer and soft drink cans)

Glass can be disposed at the community collection containers which are 50m from the house. Glass bottles and especially metal cans can be returned at the bigger supermarkets in Vodnjan/Zminj or Pula where you can get a return of the caution paid for each item.

Please separate your trash accordingly.

We kindly ask you to empty all inside bins and dispose of any bottles when you depart.

Washer&Dryer -Please do not run both the washer and the dryer at the same time as it may overload the electrical installation.

A/C
Do not let the AC run while the windows and outside doors are open (It simply makes no sense)
Before you leave place the remote controls where you found them (upstairs on the white dresser in the hallway and downstairs on the white table in the living room)

FIREPLACE & BBQ
The fireplace is not to be used during the summer months.

The firepit is usually used as a table in the outside den. If a fire is lit the pit needs to be cleaned after every use. Feel free to use the wood for the fireplace. After cleaning place back the wooden cover.

After using the BBQ please clean it for the next guests. If you have used all the coal please replace it.

POOL RULES
The pool area is open and you are USING IT AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RESPONSIBILITY!!
*If you are traveling with kids please make sure that they are never playing in the water unattended!
Do not enter the pool with muddy feet
Do not pee in the pool - this is for your own comfort and hygiene!

LIBRARY/GAMES
If you take a book from the library please try to leave one as well.
If you use any of the board games please make sure you gather all the pieces back in the box when you are done.

If something gets broken or there is any damage at all please contact us and report it immediately. We fully understand that accidence happen and they are usually not a big deal but we need to know.
Damage resulting from negligence in the use of the property or the amenities will result in additional charges and we believe this is to be a mutual understanding.
